Q: Is Sky4cars part of a franchise?

A: No we pride ourselves in being a family run business and personally ensure our customers satisfaction.

Q: What does subject to inspection mean?

A: When you enter your cars details online you get an initial quote, upon inspection we can tell you if your car is exactly as you described and therefore quote is subject to change.

Q: Do I have to pay any fee for the inspection appointment?
A: No we offer a free inspection and valuation even if you decide not to sell to us we won’t charge you for the valuation.

Q: Do I need to bring any documents?

A: Yes you will need to bring:

  • V5 registration document
  • 1 photo ID
  • Proof of address e.g. Utility bills
  • Any manuals for any accessories such as audio/video CD player etc
  • Log book with service history

Q: How much time does a valuation appointment take?

A: A member of our team will conduct a full inspection in 30 Minutes……

Q: Do I leave my car if we agree on the quote?
A: Yes you will need to arrange transport in that case.

Q: How and when do I get paid if the deal goes ahead?

A: Money will be transferred to your bank account, it may take a couple of days but instant transfers can also be done if needed.

Q: Can I be paid in cash?
A: Unfortunately dealing in such large sums of cash is not safe so we carry out all transactions through banks.

Q: How can I be certain that my money will be transferred once I hand over my car?
A: You will be given a signed invoice/contract as a proof of your sale

Q: Private plates?
A: They do not increase the value of the car itself. However if you wish to keep them you could have them transferred to your other vehicle or if have them put on a DVLA retention certificate.

Q: Outstanding finance on my car?
A: We can settle the outstanding finance on your car by adjusting the price, all we need is in date documentation of the finance details.

Q: What if I change my mind?

A: You have no obligations till the signing of the contract, but once signed??
